With every PV system over 30 kW, we recommend a data acquisition system to report on system performance and alert on errors and anomalies. In fact, all systems that receive CSI PBI payments are required to have a qualifying performance monitoring system. These systems can track and report:

• PV production
• Local building/site demand
• Weather (e.g., solar irradiance, air temperature, solar module temperature, wind speed)
• Inverter diagnostic codes
• String-level monitoring
