Dimitri Nedelco serves as the Operations Manager of the Commercial Department at Sunlight Electric. Dependable, disciplined, and highly knowledgeable, Dimitri is known for his steady leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and commitment to excellence in every project he
oversees.
He began his career in the electrical trade in 2009 with Sunlight Electric as an apprentice of the Area 1 JATC program. Through hard work and dedication, he earned his General Journeyman License in both Washington and Oregon and advanced through several key roles, including journeyman electrician and foreman. In these positions, he led major residential developments, including a large master community subdivision, where he implemented a conveyor-based production system that greatly improved job-site efficiency.
In 2016, Dimitri transitioned into the commercial division, where he expanded his expertise into estimating and project management. His disciplined approach and deep understanding of the trade led him to establish and develop the Commercial Department into a high-performing division of Sunlight Electric.
As Operations Manager, Dimitri leads a diverse team of project managers, estimators, project engineers, and administrative assistants. He is respected for his reliable leadership style, attention to detail, and ability to make sound, well-considered decisions. Dimitri values teamwork, clear communication, and continuous improvement. He believes that success comes from consistency, discipline, and learning from everyday experiences. Those are the principles he continues to apply in guiding his department and supporting the company’s growth.
