Peter began his career in construction at just 18 years old, right after graduating from high school. His first job was with an excavation company, working as an operator’s helper. One day, while digging trenches, he noticed a team of electricians installing conduits nearby. In that moment, Peter knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life — he was determined to become an electrician.
Driven by this new passion, Peter joined the Area 1 JATC Apprenticeship Program to begin his training as an electrical apprentice. In 2009, he took the next step in his career and joined Sunlight Electric.
From day one, Peter embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute. His dedication and leadership propelled him through multiple roles within the company — from Apprentice to Shop Handler, Shop Manager, Purchasing Manager, General Manager, and ultimately, CEO of Sunlight Electric.
Under Peter’s leadership, Sunlight Electric has experienced remarkable growth. Through his vision, commitment to quality, and focus on building a strong, skilled team, the company has expanded to employ over 130 electricians. Peter’s ability to inspire others, foster teamwork, and maintain the company’s core values has been instrumental in shaping Sunlight Electric into one of the region’s leading electrical contractors.
Peter’s journey is more than just a career story — it’s a testament to what’s possible when ambition meets opportunity. His rise from humble beginnings to company leadership continues to inspire everyone at Sunlight Electric to dream big, work hard, and never stop learning.
