Reuben Kokhanevych is a driven and highly skilled professional who leads Sunlight Electric’s Multifamily Department. As Operations Manager, he oversees all aspects of multifamily electrical projects—from initial design and estimating to execution and final completion. His role includes guiding the design team on design-build projects, managing project managers, project engineers, and foremen, and ensuring every project meets Sunlight Electric’s standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.
A graduate of David Douglas High School, Reuben began his career in construction working across multiple trades, including swimming pool construction, masonry, and tile work. He later completed his electrical training through the Area 1 JATC Electrical Trade School, quickly distinguishing himself as a talented and knowledgeable electrician. Over nearly a decade at Sunlight Electric, Reuben has advanced from apprentice to journeyman, foreman, project manager, and now department leader—demonstrating his dedication, technical expertise, and natural leadership.
Known for his ambition and forward-thinking mindset, Reuben consistently pushes boundaries to elevate his team and expand the department’s capabilities. His fluency in complex electrical systems and unwavering commitment to excellence make him an invaluable part of Sunlight Electric’s continued growth and success.
