Originally from abroad, Serghei came to the United States with nothing but determination and hope for a better future. While learning a new language, raising his three young children, and navigating a tough market, he worked tirelessly as an electrician. Driven by his vision to create something greater, he founded Sunlight Electric in 2002. What began as a small operation with just a few employees has, through Serghei’s leadership, persistence, and belief in people, grown into the thriving 140+ person team it is today.
Serghei has a rare gift for inspiring and uniting people. He leads by example—with honesty, respect, and compassion—earning the trust and loyalty of those around him. He believes deeply in the potential of young people, offering them opportunities to explore their talents, think creatively, and contribute meaningfully to the company’s success.
